The Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Doha held a productive meeting with Mr. Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansouri, Acting General Manager of the Qatar Chamber, at the Chamber’s headquarters on 8 October 2025.
The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Sierra Leone, with an emphasis on fostering trade and investment opportunities. Both parties highlighted the importance of engaging the Qatari private sector to promote commercial exchanges and strengthen economic ties.
Preparations for the upcoming Qatari–Sierra Leone Business Forum, scheduled for 2026 in Doha, were also addressed. The Forum will bring together a high-level delegation from Sierra Leone, including government representatives, business owners, and investors, to explore opportunities across key sectors.
Mr. Al Mansouri reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to working closely with Sierra Leone to expand trade and investment partnerships, particularly in the agriculture, industrial, and engineering sectors.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of both countries to strengthening bilateral economic relations and creating sustainable opportunities for collaboration between the public and private sectors.
